Description
Gule / Gulai is a local Indonesian curry dish. It is yellowish in color, can be made as a thinner soup or a thicker consistency, depending on different parts of Indonesia. The main ingredients are mutton, beef or poultry, seafood and vegetables. It is very popular with Indonesians especially during Muslim New Year Holidays. The ingredients of the curry consist of rich spices such as shallots, garlic, turmeric, coriander, galangal, nutmeg, ginger, chilies, cumin, lemongrass, cloves and cinnamon.
