Description
Kare / Kari is a typical Indonesian yellow curry soup, cooked in coconut milk. The main ingredients are poultry, beef or mutton. It can be made into a vegetarian dish, using tofu, tempeh, or eggplant and other vegetables. It is popular especially during Muslim New Year Holidays. The ingredients for the curry are white pepper, coriander, cumin, lemongrass, ginger, turmeric, chilies, shallots and ginger.
