Description
Yellow rice is Indonesian yellow fragrant rice. One of Indonesia’s culinary icons, it is a popular celebratory food which is usually served on special occasions. Rice will be served in a cone called “tumpeng” to represent a mountain of gold and thus luck and gratitude. This yellow rice is usually served with various side dishes such as omelette, fried chicken, chili fried liver, balado, french fries, tempeh and sauteed peanuts.
